Decommissioning can be as important as installation, both in terms of timing (e.g. when a turbine is ready to be installed on its base, but a met mast is in the way!) and in terms of the care to be taken with instruments which are often sent for post-calibration. Our teams are used to working to tight deadlines and ensuring that delicate equipment reaches the wind tunnel in the same condition as when it was removed from the mast. We can provide a full decommissioning report, including details of which components should be replaced to prepare the system for a future deployment. Other services include refurbishment and storage of all components ready for installation on another site.
