High Quality!

March 21st, 2012

We are delighted to announce that our Quality Management System is now accredited to ISO 9001:2008, for both mast production and site services.  Many thanks to Bradley Harrison of TEC-EMS who assisted us with the process, Highlands and Islands Enterprise who contributed to some of the costs associated with gaining accreditation, our own HSQE Manager Brian Maclean and the rest of the Chillwind staff who have worked hard to adapt our internal procedures to the new system.  We hope our clients are now experiencing the benefits to them of our consistent approach to delivering high quality wind data.

HSQE update

March 21st, 2012

Chillwind’s performance in relation to Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental management has undergone the most rigorous assessment by Achilles and we have passed the Verify B2 audit with flying colours.  The company’s overall score – across both office and site-based activities – is 84%.  This achievement came in September 2011, prior to our ISO 9001 accreditation, and so we are confident we can improve on this score when we are re-assessed in Autumn 2012.

Monitoring at hub height

The Chillwind 90m mast remains the tallest tilt-up, tubular met mast available and is becoming increasingly popular for both site assessment and power performance applications.  It requires no concrete foundations and can be installed in as little as two days of site time.  Contact Donald MacDonald or Gavin McCulloch at our Inverness office (01667 461 094) to discuss your requirements.
